The Alert Me Too app aims to utilize our access to technological advances, which will increase our personal safety and the safety of those we love.

Alert Me Too uses GPS locations. This allows you to receive alerts about suspicious behavior in your area, but it will also allow you to increase the area of coverage, so you can receive alerts from greater distances. Set the app to alert you for suspicious activity in your neighborhood, university campus, or your kids’ route home from school.

The alerts will appear on your phone much like a text message notification. Clicking on the alert will provide you with additional information. The app allows you to upload pictures from your camera phone, so images of suspicious vehicles, persons, or activities can be included in the alerts all while keeping your privacy.

While not only looking after those we love, Alert Me Too shares information that can assist those in your immediate vicinity, which establishes and reinforces links with others in your neighborhood and sets a standard of behavior that is acceptable by people within your community.

The more people in your neighborhood that have access to the app, the more chance you have of receiving reliable information about disturbing activity. Think of Alert Me Too as a digital version of Neighborhood Watch with rolling, real-time reports.
